Chicken Donut Ingredients

For the test:

  1. Premium wheat flour 500g.
  2. 1pc chicken egg
  3. Baking yeast 25g.
  4. Sugar 1.5 tbsp
  5. Vegetable oil 1.5 tbsp
  6. Milk (2.5% fat) 1 cup
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Vegetable oil for frying 0.5-1 cup

For cream:

  1. Milk (2.5% fat) 1 cup
  2. 1pc chicken egg
  3. Premium wheat flour 1.5 tbsp
  4. Sugar 0.5 cup
  5. 0.5 teaspoon vanilla essence

Cooking custard donuts:

Step 1: Knead the dough.

Sift the flour through a sieve and mix it with yeast. Add milk to flour and mix thoroughly with a spoon until the lumps are completely dissolved. Then add the egg, sugar, milk, butter, salt and knead the ingredients until a smooth, uniform dough. Then cover the dough with a film and leave for an hour in a warm place (during this time the dough should "fit", that is, rise, double).

Step 2: Prepare the cream.

Mix 3/4 cup milk and sugar. Heat the mixture in a small saucepan. Then combine the remaining milk with flour and egg, stir until smooth. Make sure that there are no lumps. Pour in a thin stream into the resulting mixture hotter milk without stopping stirring. We put the mixture on a small fire and cook until thickened 10-15 minutes. Add the vanilla essence and cool the resulting cream.

Step 3: Cooking the Donuts.

Expand and knead the dough. Tear off a piece of size from it with egg and with our hands we form a cake of size with palm. In the middle of the cake, put a teaspoon of cream, and then pinch the dough on four sides. We take a medium-sized pot or deep frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it (it should be enough so that the donuts float in it without touching the bottom) and heat the oil over medium heat. Put the donuts in the frying pan. Fry donuts on both sides until golden brown 5-10 minutes on average the fire. We put ready donuts on a paper towelto absorb excess fat.

Step 4: Serve the custard donuts.

Put the donuts on the dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Fry the donuts over medium heat, if you make the fire too big, they will fry on the outside and remain moist inside.

- - Instead of vanillin, you can add 3 tablespoons to the cream cocoa.

- - A simplified way of filling donuts is to fill the cream with ready-made fried donuts using a pastry syringe or bag.

- - To give a special flavor to the dough when kneading, you can pour 2 tbsp brandy or brandy.

- - The cling film can be replaced with a plastic bag.
