Liver with vegetables


Ingredients for cooking liver with vegetables

  1. Chicken liver 400-500 grams
  2. Carrot 1 piece
  3. Bow 1-2 medium heads
  4. Zucchini 1 piece
  5. Potato 4-5 pieces
  6. Vegetable oil 50 grams
  7. Seasoning "Vegeta" to taste

Cooking liver with vegetables:

Step one: prepare the liver.

We thoroughly wash our chicken liver under running water and carefully remove the film from it with a knife. As many housewives know, the process of removing this film is important, as it gives bitterness to any dish. Then, pour milk into a deep bowl and put our liver there. Let it stand at least 30-40 minutes.

Step Two: Cook Vegetables.

Peel the potatoes, wash them in water, cut them into cubes. We pour some water into the pan, throw potatoes there and put on fire. We need our potatoes to cook.

Step Three: fry onions, carrots, zucchini and liver.

Pour a little vegetable oil into the pan and put it on the fire next to the pot where the potatoes are cooked. In the meantime, while the pan is warming up - we clean the onion, cut it as small as possible and pour it into the pan. We also clean the carrots, rem on a medium grater and add to the onion. Zucchini (zucchini) with a knife, peel, cut into strips and add onions with carrots. It’s important not to fry the vegetables too much. We need them half ready. Pour oil into another pan, put it on a fire and fry the liver.

Fourth step: continue to cook the liver with vegetables.

As soon as our potatoes are cooked (try for softness) we add vegetables from the pan and liver to it in a pan, stir, sprinkle with seasoning and salt to taste. We cover the pan, "remove" the fire to a minimum and leave it to simmer for 10 -15 minutes. In the meantime, cut the greens as finely as possible, and sprinkle the top of the liver when it is stewed.

Step Five: serve to the table.

As soon as the liver with vegetables is ready - ladle pour the dish on plates and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Soaking the liver in milk must be done. The fact is that milk removes an unpleasant smell, taste from the liver and makes it much more tender.

- - if there is no zucchini - it does not matter, the dish can be cooked without it.
