Cooking chicken breasts with lemon:

Step 1: prepare the chicken.

To begin, we wash the chicken breasts under running water, then dry them with paper kitchen towels and transfer them to a cutting board. Using a knife, we cut the chicken breasts in half, so that they are halved in thickness. Thus, we should get 8 chicken pieces. Next, using a teaspoon, add the required amount of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Rub these spices thoroughly into each meat piece on both sides. And after that, we move on to the next cooking step.

Step 2: squeeze the lemon juice.

We wash the lemon under running water, wipe it with kitchen towels and put it on a cutting board. We cut the citrus in half and use the juicer to squeeze the juice into any container. If you do not have this equipment, then you can squeeze the juice with your hands. To do this, squeeze half the lemon over any container and squeeze the juice.

Step 3: fry the chicken breasts.

Turn on the temperature of the stove to a medium level, add to the pan 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. We put the pan on the burner and heat up our oil mixture. In the meantime, the oil warms up, prepare the chicken. To do this, take a deep plate or bowl with a wide flat bottom and pour the right amount of flour into it. Next, put in it a chicken piece with spices and roll it on both sides. Then shake off the excess flour, which does not stick to the chicken and transfer it to a pan with heated oil. The place in the pan should be enough for 4 pieces, so quickly roll the remaining three pieces in flour, put them next to the first and begin to fry. The chicken will not be fried for long, since we initially reduced its thickness by half, approximately 5 minutes on the one hand and 5 minutes with another. Turn the pieces over with a wooden kitchen spatula and put the finished ones in a deep plate. Then, add to the pan 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon of olive. And fry the remaining 4 slices in the same way. Next, we remove them in a deep plate, to the already cooked chicken breasts. At the same time, we are in no hurry to put the pan in the sink.

Step 4: prepare the lemon sauce.

Next, in the same pan, without reducing the temperature of the stove, prepare the sauce. Add the required amount of dry white wine to the pan, 1 tablespoon butter and our freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir the contents with a wooden spatula for about 3 minutes, and when the sauce begins to thicken, pour over the fried chicken breasts.

Step 5: Serve the chicken breasts with lemon.

Saturated with citrus aroma and taste, chicken meat will delight you and your family. This dish is served hot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. At the same time, any side dish can be prepared for it, starting from fried or boiled potatoes, ending with any cereals, pasta or vegetables. Serve chicken slices, immediately laying out each to plates, or put them on a beautiful portioned dish and decorate with slices of fresh lemon or orange. In any case, your efforts will be appreciated by the household and will ask you to cook such a chicken more often. Cook with pleasure! Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - It is best to defrost chicken breasts in a natural way, then the meat will retain all the vitamins and its taste will not be affected. Also, the meat can be defrosted in the refrigerator on the lower shelf or laid in a pan and thawed under a stream of cold running water. Remember that the water should not be hot, otherwise the meat may become hard and not tasty.

- - Re-freezing a chicken that has been lying in a thawed state for more than two hours is not allowed.

- - In addition to black pepper, you can add other spices that are suitable for chicken meat.

- - If you do not like olive oil, you can replace it with any vegetable oil, such as sunflower.
