A recipe simpler than that is not even possible.
I admit that I am lucky, the tomatoes used in this salad are from my mother's garden in the country. They are natural and very tasty.
- mozzarella, in my case "Milk core - with salt" from Delaco
- fresh basil leaves
- olive oil
- ground black pepper
- a pinch of salt.
Preparation time: less than 15 minutes
HOW TO PREPARE THE RECIPE Caprese Salad:
Wash the tomatoes, cut them into slices and do the same with the cheese.
Place them on a plate, alternating the slices between them. Don't forget the basil leaves.
Sprinkle with pepper, a pinch of salt and olive oil.
Leave the ingredients for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, to feel the true taste of the tomatoes and in addition the mozzarella has a different taste when kept cold.
